Ukraine: training and caring for volunteers

Volunteers, all faithful servants, combined rest and enjoyed nature, morning worship and participation in the workshops "The Art of Communication", taught by Stanislav.

"About 150 Irpin Bible Church volunteers took part in two retreats, in June and August. They were held in a picturesque location in western Ukraine.

Volunteers, all faithful servants, combined rest and enjoyed nature, morning worship and participation in the workshops "The Art of Communication", taught by Stanislav.

The idea of the seminar was to discover the communication skills God has put in us; to see the flaws in our communication that can hurt others, and understand that differences are part of the Lord's design and allow us to complement and develop one another.

It was a beautiful time of renewal of physical and spiritual strength in an atmosphere of joy, acceptance, strengthening and communion."

This was one of many projects funded by all of you who donated to the Ukraine crisis fund. While most of the projects focused on the 'outside', on serving those in need, the work would have been impossible if not for the faithful volunteers God raised for all this time. That's why we believe caring for them and helping to work effectively is a vital part of an effective ministry. Thank you all for your generosity, both in prayers and donations.
