Gabriella Turner

Gabriella Turner is a new missionary coming from the allied health field as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the Texas area. She is originally from small town Mississippi, but enjoys the bustle of city life in her ministry field of Madrid, Spain. She enjoys trying new activities and experiences from ziplining to finding great coffee/food shops in her local city. She is a firm believer in taking naps and desert after dinner.  Gabriella enjoys making connections with people from all walks of life over a meal and uses her gifting in hospitality to share the Gospel.

Gabriella partners with a ministry called “O” Center that caters to improving the way of life for immigrant and refugee women and children from North Africa by teaching language in Spanish and English.  The “O” Center is located in the heart of Lavapiés, Madrid, one of the most diverse neighborhoods in Europe, where over 90 nationalities are represented. The center’s primary mission is to bridge the growing gap between the marginalized immigrant population in Madrid and the larger Spanish society through non-formal and holistic education. Throughout the year, “O” Center offers various educational programs such as Spanish literacy, English, after-school help for children, as well as fine arts courses such as music, painting and dance. At the heart of each class, our priority is to develop meaningful relationships inside and outside the classroom that will lead our students toward a healthy and successful future.

Her heart is for those she meets will come to know the Father’s love and freely live in their identity as a treasured belongings of God that are sons and daughters of the King through His mercy given through Jesus Christ our Lord. *1 Peter 2:9-10.
